PROJECT DESCRIPTION
A violence prevention, community journalism site, created to give the people of Oakland, California a place to share stories, connect, and develop solutions together. This project was developed for the Oakland Tribune Newspaper.

Not Just a Number was honored with the KNIGHT FOUNDATION AWARD for Public Service 2007, ONLINE JOURNALISM AWARD – Service Journalism (small market) 2007, recognized by ADOBE as a “Site of The Day”, and received NPPA BOP 1st place honors (small market) 2007.
